For decades I've seen west coast forests not as static timeless objects, but as temporal violent collapsing organic structures; in my watercolours they and their remains often became subjects of interest for me. I decided to have a stab at making a suite of drypoint prints around the theme. The suite of 'structurally damaged forms' may have emerged from these Carbon Ghosts as the viewer should easily recognize.
